Layouts and connection details
Our structural drawing services include steel structures and steel connections. The required drawings depend on the project geometry, intended use and agreed design scope. Share the overall dimensions, spans, heights and architectural constraints at the start of the enquiry.
Coordinate the steel structure with the building
Steel members, supports and connections need to be considered together with the surrounding building. Identify interfaces with concrete supports, roof layouts and other project elements when discussing the design. If your project combines RCC and steel, include the relevant drawings for both.
Clarify design and fabrication requirements
Structural design drawings and fabrication shop drawings serve different purposes. When requesting a quotation, specify which documents you need and who is responsible for fabrication and erection coordination. The scope, deliverables and review stages should be agreed for your particular project.
Information for a quotation
Send the project location, intended use, available architectural drawings and any existing structural records. Include the proposed dimensions and any equipment or other loading requirements already identified by your project team. You can view steel drawing examples in our gallery before contacting us.
